Help for Columbia Gas Customers

It's been a long, cold winter, and even with the financial help available, some people are still short of money for energy. Columbia Gas, supplier of gas to over 1,000 counties in Ohio, has announced a new program to help some customers who are behind on their gas bills. It's designed for people who may not be eligible for other types of help. If you make between 175% and 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. The funds can be applied for, and will be distributed by, local Community Action Agencies. You can find the one that covers your area at this website. Contact them, or Columbia Gas at 1-800-344-4077 to see if you qualify.
